Latest acquisition by Yahoo is Xobni, an initial landscape that is fully dedicated to email management. It is just unveiled on the blog of the company. Foremost reports suggest that the buying was somewhere over $30 million but TechCrunch has knowledge that the sum agreed for the deal will be more than $60 million.
More than 6 years old, Xobni earned near to $42 million till time, as it put efforts to rediscover the method of doing email. Last funds were raised in last year’s February, and investors include RRE Ventures, Baseline Ventures, RBC Venture Partners, Cisco, Atomico, Khosla Ventures, First Round Capital and others.
Even more than $60 million of funds is not considered to be a fabulous return for the investors but at least it is safe that it did not get below than what it raised earlier. It hasn’t proved to be as attractive as the investors thought and also they failed to boost the transaction, uttered reports. Yahoo zips the mouth when it comes to financial terms of the deal while same is the case when asked to Xobni representative.
