Apple’s next product “iWatch” is highly in talks from sources. Some reports fired it extremely including The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal whereby they claim that the iPhone maker has started performing tests of prototypes of its next big product. The report giving agencies adds that this expected product will be powered by a version of iOS that teams up closely with the iPhone. Cited features that will be sporting on “iWatch” are Siri integration, maps & navigations, calendar and email alerts, app notifications, caller ID, mobile payment support. It is said that Gorilla Glass maker Corning would be the one who will manufacture the glass for the Apple’s watch placed on its new flexible “Willow Glass.”
Having gotten various professionals with high skills in sensors and other parts that are vital to wearable devices, Apple is marked to be in process of business talks with Hon Hai Precision, the parent firm of Apple’s supplier Foxconn, on all making methodologies needed to make this device. It is further believed that after the iWatch, the future demand of mobile computers would be trimmed.
The war for wearable computers will also be continued as it is presently in smartphones. Google’s Glass concept is also in rumors along with other products like MEG.
“Apple is already in the wearable space through its ecosystem partners that make accessories that connect to the iPhone. This makes Apple potentially the biggest player of the wearables market in a sort of invisible way,” Sarah Rotman Epps, Forrester analyst told The New York Times.
Yet there is no specifc time revealed for this Apple’s product but it can be marked that due to certain reasons it won’t be available at least for a year.
