Some analysts & forecasters cite that Apple in future will bring iPhone mini to surface vastly in market & beat the Korean giant. Samsung, the smartphone leader has spread its wings exponentially in recent phase and in 2013 is expected to be a dominant. This has led Apple to take wise decision and innovate a budget friendly iPhone to beat Samsung effectively, believes experts. The Korean smartphone maker is envisioned to rise by 35% from 215 million of 2012 to 290 million in this new-year 2013, suggests market researcher Strategy Analytics. At the same time Apple’s smartphone sales figures are expected to touch 180 million in 2013, which exceeds up by 33% from 2012.
The researching company therefore says that Apple may kick the market by bringing a miniature & affordable smartphone – the iPhone Mini. But for those widening their eyes may put in mind that this product won’t be available before 2014. “We expect Samsung to slightly extend its lead over Apple this year because of its larger multi-tier product portfolio,” Neil Mawston – Executive Director of Strategy Analytics said.
On fronts of Samsung reports say that it may bring Galaxy S IV – a new model of its flagship smartphone in April along with the Galaxy Note III phablet, plus a range of other new smartphones in the time frame of 12 months.
“Samsung plays in more segments and this should enable it to capture more volume than Apple (thinking the iPhone maker will not come out with the miniature phone in 2013),” Mr Mawston added to the reports.
