Social networking giant Facebook schedules to congest its freshly purchased Menlo Park campus by hiring 9,400 more employees by 2017.
According to report, city documents have unveiled that the company is working out to step in for hiring and will ultimately fill the novel campus to its occupied capacity by 2017.
Facebook, the world’s major social network with more than 500 million users worldwide, currently employs 2,000 people around the world with 1,400 in its in progress Palo Alto headquarters.
The company had made news when it had purchased the 57 acre Menlo Park campus which formerly been in the right place to Sun Microsystems.
Facebook also acquired a 22 acre plot right next to the Menlo Park campus. As per to the well sourced report, Facebook will be naming the 22 acre campus as Facebook West Campus at the same time as the larger campus will be its east campus.
“It is perfidious, but they unquestionably are aware with the hazard of not burgeoning, which is seeing their business go to Google or some pioneering upstart,” said Rob Enderle, an analyst with the Enderle Group.
