Android 4.2.2 update releases for Nexus 4 with no informal LTE

Reports suggest that on February 13, some Galaxy Nexus, Nexus 7 and Nexus 10 users started receiving update pop-ups of latest & new Android 4.2.2 update. On the first day the Nexus 4 was left behind but will receive it today. The highly expected issue of unofficial LTE spotted on Nexus 4 is now eliminated with this update. This is happy news for Nexus 4 customers as they have been experiencing informal support for Band 4 LTE from the initial stage & so they wished that this should be removed.


Reports revealing sources adds that the OTA update that came out today for the device users, the issue feature has ended, when they choose the option of “LTE only” under Phone Information after the update will affect the setting to change & return to WCDMA Preferred. Apart from this change, the new update gives a range of unseen features for Nexus 4 device and also offers bug fixes & better stability. If the device has low batter then now they will be getting different notification sound than what it was earlier. Also the notification sound accompanied with wireless charging is amended. With this update now users will be spotting new download notification that shows download time along with the facility to flip between on and off for Wi Fi and Bluetooth by pushing their respective areas.

Users who wish to update should note that after you get your device update, AdBlock Plus will not run due to problems of auto-configuring of proxy. Via air this new Android update would be availed but those not getting it can try manually and gain it.
